- Organized custom-designed sight-seeing tours (daily, multiple days, half day)
We arrange a wide range of tours to cater to the needs and interests of our guests. We have mapped out routes and set prices for these. We arrange for visits at local weavers and potters if desired, and allocate time to specific sites according to the plans of our guests. You could also float silently through the valleys, so close to the rockformations that you can almost touch them. You could rise to 1000 ft to enjoy mangnificent views over the valleys. A balloon flight is an unforgettable experience, and we will make arrangements for you with the best available rates of the season upon request.

- Nature Tours (hiking, mountain biking, jeep safari, horse-riding)
On a bike, you can discover Cappadocia a bit faster then by foot. Come with us on an adventourous bicycle tour through the valleys and hills of the region, custom-designed for your needs and interests. We can also arrange for horse-riding upon the ancient hills of Cappadocia if requested in advance, circumstances and season allowing. The hotel has a jeep available for jeep safari tours in Cappadocia at large as well as on top of the village itself where there are ancient caves and rock formations. A night's stay with a camp fire is easily arranged for families with young children as well as groups looking for a total break away from the city while staying at Akköy.

- History tours (the village, environs, specific caves, select sites)
Cappadocia has a large number of underground cities. These were so big that over 20.000 people could live underground when enemies threatened. Some of these are open to public, while others could only be visited via private arrangements. If you wish to venture into the 'less seen' territory, we provide guidance and link you with the locals in other villages who take you to these rare sites. Early Christians settled in Cappadocia to practice their faith in peace, safe from enemies like the Romans. The most beautiful frescoes can still be admired today. We arrange for daily trips to the Open Air museum, as well as taking you to the less-known monasteries and churches upon request.
- Local activities (nearby caves, waterfalls, spas, local market, historical buildings such as churches and mosques)
The old bazaar in Kayseri is a colourful gathering of all kinds of merchandise. Friendly shopkeepers sell herbs, clothing, jewellery, shoes, household articles and unique artifacts. There is also a local market in Urgup that you can visit, as well as historical buildings from Ottoman times. We arrange for photography tours to local caves, waterfalls, as well as health-visits to local spas upon request.
